PURPOSE: An interfacial impedance measuring apparatus between a bio object and a stimulus electrode are provided to measure the impedance of each electrode using a voltage difference applied to both ends of an electrode, thereby measuring impedance in real time. CONSTITUTION: A first electrode is connected to one part of an internal cell of a bio object. A measuring unit(100) selectively extracts a voltage applied to the first electrode and a second electrode according to currents applied to the first and second electrodes. The second electrode is connected to the other part of another part of the internal cell of the bio object. A current is applied from a stimulator to the second electrode. A charge storing unit(110) stores a relative electric potential corresponding to the voltage difference between the first and second electrodes. An A/D converting unit(130) converts a signal corresponding to the relative potential into a digital signal.본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 생체와 자극전극 사이의 계면 임피던스 측정 장치는 생체 내부 셀의 일부분에 연결되는 제 1 전극과, 생체 내부 셀의 다른 부분에 연결되어 자극기로부터 전류가 인가되며, 인가되는 전류를 셀을 통해 제 1 전극에 제공하는 제 2 전극과, 제 1 및 제 2 전극들에 인가되는 전류에 따라 제 1 및 제 2 전극에 유기되는 전압을 선택적으로 추출하는 측정부와, 제 1 및 제 2 전극 사이의 전압차에 해당되는 상대 전위가 저장되는 전하 저장부와, 상대 전위에 해당되는 신호를 디지털 신호로 변환하여 출력하는 A/D 변환부와, A/D 변환부에서 출력되는 디지털 신호와 제 2 전극에 인가되는 전류를 통해 제 1 및 제 2 전극의 계면 임피던스를 계산하는 임피던스 계산부를 포함한다.이와 같이, 본 발명은 뇌나 근육과 같은 생체 내에 이식된 자극전극의 생체 및 전극 사이의 계면 임피던스를 각 전극에 걸리는 전압 차를 이용하여 측정할 수 있는 장치를 제공함으로써, 전극의 생체 이식 후 변화되는 전극의 임피던스를 간단한 구성으로 실시간으로 정확히 측정하는 것이 가능하다.
