The present invention relates to a medical bandage for use on a convex part of the human body. The medical dressing comprises a filler and an edge portion. the padding comprises a rim and the edge portion extends along said rim. The medical dressing may be arranged in a substantially substantially first configuration and a substantially substantially cup-shaped second configuration. wherein in said first substantially flat configuration the medical bandage is folded along a first line defining a first line segment having a first and second end points, such that a first part and a second part of said bandage doctor are formed. the first part of said medical bandage is facing and in contact with said second part of said medical bandage when the medical bandage is in the first substantially flat configuration. furthermore, wherein in said first substantially flat configuration, the first and second portions of the medical bandage are connected by means of a fixed connection along a second line defining a second line segment having a first and a second endpoint. the first and second line segments are connected at their respective first end points so that an angle between 90 and 175 degrees is formed between the first and second segments when the medical dressing is in the first substantially flat configuration.
