PURPOSE: A container for sterilizing and collecting waste electrophysiology catheters and a catheter treatment method using the same are provided to prevent secondary infection by safely sterilizing waste electrophysiology catheters while collecting the waste electrophysiology catheters. CONSTITUTION: A container for sterilizing and collecting waste electrophysiology catheters comprises a container body(1), a stopper(2), and a cap part. The container body is filled with the disinfection chemicals and has an opened spout. The stopper is detachably coupled to the spout and has a mounting groove. The top of the mounting groove is recessed and a through-hole is formed on the bottom surface of the mounting groove. The cap part is inserted and fixed in the mounting groove and blocks the through-hole to be opened. The catheter is inserted in the cap part in a longitudinal direction thereof.본 발명은 사용이 종료된 전극 카테터를 살균하며 수거하기 위한 용기와 이를 이용한 전극 카테터의 처리방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 실시예로, 내부에 살균약제가 담길 수 있으며, 개방된 주둥이가 형성되어 있는 용기본체, 상기 주둥이에 분리 가능하게 결합되어 있으며, 상면에서 함몰되어 형성되며, 그 바닥면에는 통과홀이 형성되어 있는 장착홈을 가지는 마개 및 상기 장착홈에 삽입되어 고정되어 있고, 상기 통과홀을 개방 가능하게 막고 있으며, 전극 카테터가 그 길이 방향으로 투입 가능한 캡부를 포함하는 폐 전극 카테터 살균수거용기를 제시한다.
