595798 Disclosed is a method of controlling ectoparasite infestations of a non-human animal which comprises systematically administering an effective amount of spinetoram or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to said animal. Also disclosed is a pharmaceutical formulation comprising spinetoram in an oral or parenteral dosage form wherein the formulation is adapted to provide a dose of 10 mg to 60 mg of said spinetoram, per kg of body weight of said animal.
