PURPOSE: A system and method for evaluating obesity and figure using a virtual marker method are provided to supply information about obesity and figure by generating obesity and figure evaluation data. CONSTITUTION: A storage unit(110) stores and maintains a standard body size. An image input unit(120) receives images of a subject. A virtual marker generating unit(130) generates virtual markers on a plurality of positions of the inputted image. A body size calculating unit(140) calculates the body size of the subject through the position of the generated virtual marker. An obesity and figure data generating unit(150) generates the obesity and figure evaluation data by comparing the calculated body size with the standard body size.가상 마커 방식을 이용한 비만/체형을 평가하는 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 비만/체형 평가 시스템은 표준체형치수를 저장 및 유지하는 저장부, 피측정자가 촬영된 영상을 입력 받는 영상 입력부, 입력된 영상의 다수의 위치에 가상 마커를 생성하는 가상 마커 생성부, 생성된 가상 마커의 위치를 통해 피측정자의 신체둘레치수를 계산하는 신체둘레치수 계산부 및 계산된 신체둘레치수와 표준체형치수를 비교하여 비만/체형 평가 데이터를 생성하는 비만/체형 평가 데이터 생성부를 포함한다. 이때, 다수의 위치는 입력된 영상에 촬영된 피측정자의 신체부위 중 특정위치를 포함한다.
