A system for tracking the functional part of the instrument during the interventional procedure and displaying dynamic visualization corresponding to the functional part of the instrument, comprising: at least one instrument; a system for obtaining anatomical images related to the direction of the instrument; a cable connected to the visualization system on a fixed the end and connected to the tool at the distal end, while the cable contains optical shape sensors; an optical console configured to interrogation of the optical sensors form; a processor adapted to calculate local curvature at various positions along the cable, determine the three-dimensional shape of the cable using certain local curvature values, and determine the location and orientation of the tool relative to images using a specific cable shape and the location of the fixed end of the cable. 2. The system of claim 1, wherein the visualization system is configured to construct a three-dimensional image space and display the corresponding type of image space for the tool, showing the functional part of the tool in the image space.
