PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precut treatment device for a general-purpose combine-harvester, in which culms are lodged to positions along an auger to improve the transfer to a transverse transfer auger and to smoothen the transfer to a feed conveyor for lifting and transferring to a threshing section.SOLUTION: A precut treatment device for a general-purpose combine-harvester comprises: a cutting table (6) disposed in the precut treatment device a transverse transfer auger (7) for transferring the pre-cut culm introduced into the cutting table (6), in transverse directions and a scatter preventing member (15) arranged above the transverse transfer auger (7) for preventing the scattering of grains. The precut treatment device further comprises: a culm lodging device (17) for lodging the culm at a standing position leaning to a front portion of the scatter preventing member (15), toward one of right and left sides.
