Die Systemkomponente hat eine Komponenteneigenschaft, welche einen Wert in einem durch das Bildgebungssystem bedingten ersten Wertebereich einnehmen kann. Dabei weist eine entsprechende Systemkomponente eines anderen Bildgebungssystems eine entsprechende Komponenteneigenschaft mit einem anderen Wertebereich auf, der mit dem ersten Wertebereich einen Überlappungsbereich aufweist. Die Steuerungskomponente ist ausgebildet, eine Verwendung der Systemkomponente bei Erstellung des Abbildes zu steuern, wobei die Steuerungskomponente in einem Kompatibilitätsmodus betreibbar ist.
