PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible that when an intracavitary ultrasound probe is attached with a contamination-control cover bag such that the cover bag covers up to the control unit, degradation of the operability of the control unit is prevented.SOLUTION: A transesophageal probe 10 is covered with a contamination-control probe cover 40. The transesophageal probe 10 covered with the probe cover 40 is further provided with a jacket cover 60 which fits to a part of a flexible tube 16, a base part 24 of a control unit 14, and a part of a cable 18. The jacket cover 60 prevents the slipping (moving) of the probe cover 40 on the base part 24 and others. Further, a UD knob 26 and an LR knob 28 of the control unit 14 are covered with a UD knob cover 80 and an LR knob cover 82, respectively.
