PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft candy having an intrinsic chewing property to the soft candy preventing adhesion to teeth without using oil and fat and an emulsifier, and looking transparent.SOLUTION: The soft candy includes: 70-95 wt.% of carbohydrate and dietary fiber in total at the ratio between 8:2 and 2:8 1-10 wt.% of pullulan 0.5-10 wt.% of gellan gum and 1-10 wt.% of pregelatinized starch derived from dent corn or waxy corn. The soft candy is a novel soft candy having a texture of an intrinsic chewing property to the soft candy, and preventing adhesion to teeth without using oil and fat or the emulsifier which are conventionally used to prevent adhesion to teeth. The soft candy looks transparent because the oil and fat and the emulsifier are not used, and can be characterized by coloring with artificial colors or fruit juice, etc.
