PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress interlaced imaging while simplifying a structure.SOLUTION: A medical observation device 2 comprises: a microscope part 21 enlarging and imaging an observation object and a support part 23 which has first to fifth arm parts 231A to 231E and first to sixth joint parts 232A to 232F connecting the first to fifth arm parts 231A to 231E and supports a microscope section 21 at an end. The joint part is provided with: a fixed part fixed to one of two arm parts connected to each other and a movable part which is fixed to the other arm part of the two arm parts and rotatable with respect to the fixed part.
