PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier of an odor component, which can suppress greenhouse gas generation breaking the global environment, and can further be made into a soil, when the carrier being capable of continuing odor generation and having finished odor generation is discarded.SOLUTION: A carrier 1 of an odor component carries the odor component 4 on a porous particle 2. The odor component 4 contains a microcapsule 5 including an odor substance 6. The porous particle 2 is a cellulose particle or a porous ceramic.
