The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating type II diabetes comprising aloe vera gel concentrated polymer fraction by an ultrafiltration method and an evening primrose seed extract and, specifically, to a pharmaceutical composition comprising aloe vera gel concentrated polymer fraction and an evening primrose seed extract which can be used for a health functional food for alleviation of type II diabetes, wherein the composition has an excellent antidiabetic effect such as inhibition of blood glucose alleviating hyperglycemia in a BKS.Cg-m^(+/+)Lepr^(db/J)homozygous diabetic(db/db) mouse which is a representative animal model of diabetes as well as having efficiency in alleviating diabetes and improving blood circulation with respect to efficiency of insulin resistance.본 발명은 알로에 베라 겔을 한외여과법으로 농축한 고분자분획과 달맞이꽃 종자 추출물을 포함하는 제2형 당뇨병 예방 및 치료용 의약조성물에 관한 것으로, 구체적으로 당뇨의 대표적인 동물모델인 BKS.Cg-m+/+Leprdb/J homozygous diabetic(db/db) 생쥐에서 고혈당증(fasting hyperglycemia)을 완화시키는 혈중 글루코오스를 억제할 뿐만 아니라 인슐린에 대한 저항성 효능에서 당뇨 및 혈행 개선 효능을 갖는다. 나아가 알로에 베라 겔을 농축한 고분자분획과 달맞이꽃 종자 추출물을 포함하는 의약조성물은 제2형 당뇨병의 완화 또는 건강기능식품으로 사용할 수 있다.
