PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary napkin which adjusts and adequately suppresses movements in the width direction of an absorber part of the sanitary napkin having the structure depending on places, shows excellent contact with a body, and hardly causes side leakage while solving a problem particular to a sanitary napkin equipped with a main part and an absorbent part on a skin side which is partially separated from the main part and is superposed in a manner to be independently deformed.
SOLUTION: In the sanitary napkin 10, the main part 1 and the absorber part 2 are separated without being joined in a central region in the longitudinal direction of the sanitary napkin 10 and are joined in the front end region or the rear end region of the longitudinal direction of the sanitary napkin 10. An elastic member 19 having a length which is the same as or shorter than a side part is provided on the side part along the longitudinal direction of the absorber part 2 in a manner to extend in the longitudinal direction.
