PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wearing article having a side edge part that can be easily torn at the time of disposal.SOLUTION: A disposable wearing article 10 includes a front waist region 11, a rear waist region 12, and a crotch region 13 and forms a waist opening 25 and a leg opening 27 by joining a side edge part 16c of the front waist region with a side edge part 17c of the rear waist region in a joining region 15 extending in a longitudinal direction Y. The joining region extends from a waist opening edge 26 forming the waist opening to a leg opening edge 28 forming the leg opening and includes a plurality of fusion parts 29 which are arranged at intervals in the longitudinal direction for joining the front waist region with the rear waist region and a wide gap part 41 in which an interval between the adjacent fusion parts is larger than an interval between the other adjacent fusion parts.
