The present invention relates to polypeptides, compositions, and methods of use thereof for optimized treatment of diseases or disorders associated with amyloid beta protein (Aβ) accumulation in a subject. This invention also relates to polypeptides, compositions, and methods of use thereof for optimized immunization against diseases characterized by Aβ accumulation in a subject. This invention further relates to pharmaceutical formulations comprising these polypeptides and methods of use for administering to a subject an optimized Aβ peptide that elicits a beneficial T cell response for example, a T cell response reducing Aβ accumulation in the brain of a subject, without causing an encephalitic response.Linvention concerne des polypeptides, des compositions, et leurs procédés dutilisation dans le traitement optimisé de maladies ou de troubles associés à laccumulation chez un patient de béta-protéines amyloïdes (Aβ). Linvention concerne également des polypeptides, des compositions et leurs procédés dutilisation dans limmunisation optimisée contre des maladies caractérisées par une accumulation dAβ chez un patient. Linvention concerne également des formulations pharmaceutiques comprenant lesdits polypeptides ainsi que des procédés dutilisation comprenant ladministration à un patient dun peptide dAβ optimisé qui déclenche une réponse des lymphocytes T bénéfique par exemple, une réponse de lymphocytes T qui réduit laccumulation dAβ dans le cerveau dun patient, sans entraîner de réponse encéphalique.
