PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which has high liquid diffusion property inside an absorber and is excellent in liquid absorptivity.SOLUTION: In an absorbent article 1, a non-laminated fiber part 5 penetrating an absorbent core 40 in a thickness direction is formed in the absorbent core 40 so as to pass a crotch part 1M and extend in a longitudinal direction X. The peripheral part of the non-laminated fiber part 5 in the absorbent core 40 is a cellulosic fiber high content area 45 that has a higher content ratio of a cellulosic fiber as compared with the other portion 46 of the absorbent core 40. The cellulosic fiber high content area 45 is compacted in the thickness direction to make its thickness thin. A skin side core wrap sheet 41 and a non-skin side core wrap sheet 42 are joined at the non-laminated fiber part 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
