PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve detection accuracy of an object included in an irradiated body.SOLUTION: The detection device according to an embodiment includes a light source, an imaging section, a front window, and a detection section. The light source applies light to an irradiated body. The imaging section includes a lens, the field angle of which is set up to 39 degrees or less, and captures an image of the irradiated body using the light applied from the light source. The front window is disposed on a front face of the imaging section and transmits the light.
