PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a base from external impact shock.SOLUTION: There is provided a portable radiation image capturing device 1 comprising a sensor substrate 51 on which a plurality of radiation detection elements 7 are arrayed in two-dimensional form, a tabular base 50 for supporting the sensor substrate, and a housing 40 in which the base is contained, the housing including a front member 41 on the side where radiation is incident and a back member 42 on the side opposite to the front member.
