An automatic pill picking device includes a base, an arm, a first driving mechanism, a driven mechanism, and a second driving mechanism. The base defines a medicine port. A suction nozzle is located on the arm. The arm is installed on the driven mechanism and is movable in a first plane relative to the base to catch medicines through the medicine driven by the firs driving mechanism. The suction nozzle is located in the medicine port. The driven mechanism is rotatable relative to the base driven by the second mechanism. The arm is sung along the driven mechanism in a second plane perpendicular to the first plane to hit sidewalls of the medicine port, to drop out powder adhered to the suction nozzle.
