PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-ligating orthodontic bracket improved in the aesthetics, the use and functionality, and the costs and manufacturability.SOLUTION: The orthodontic bracket 110 for coupling an archwire with a tooth includes a bracket body 112, a hinge pin, and a latch 114. The bracket body 112 includes a first surface configured to be mounted to the tooth and an archwire slot 118 in a second surface. The hinge pin includes a first shaft coupled with the bracket body 112. The latch 114 is coupled to the bracket body 112 by a second shaft of the hinge pin. The latch 114 is movable between an opened position and a closed position.
