PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil covering material and a soil covering method for outdoor facilities that are high in water absorbing properties and original state recovery properties, and are suitable for long-term weed control measures by suppressing construction cost.SOLUTION: A soil covering material for outdoor facilities of the present invention is formed by mixing a water absorptive material, a water addition curable material, and a coloring matter. The soil covering material for the outdoor facilities is characterized in that the water absorptive material contains porous particulate bodies having soil and/or sand as a raw material, and the water addition curable material contains at least cement. The porous particulate bodies having the soil and/or sand as the raw material is contained as the water absorptive material, and therefore the advantage of being high in water absorbing property and original state recovery properties is provided. Also, a worker only mixes and lays the water absorptive material, the water addition curable material, water and an aggregate according to need in a construction site, and thereby construction cost can be suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】吸水性及び原状回復性が高く、且つ施工コストを抑えることで長期間の防草対策に適した屋外施設用の土壌被覆材及び土壌被覆方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明の屋外施設用の土壌被覆材は、吸水性材料と、加水硬化材料と、顔料とを混合して成る屋外施設用の土壌被覆材において、前記吸水性材料が土及び/又は砂を原料とする多孔質粒状体を含み、前記加水硬化材料が少なくともセメントを含むことを特徴とする。吸水性材料として土及び/又は砂を原料とする多孔質粒状体を含有するため吸水性及び原状回復性が高いという利点を有する。また、作業者が施工現場で吸水性材料、加水硬化材料、水、必要に応じて骨材を混ぜ合わせて敷設するだけでよいので、施工コストを抑えることができる。【選択図】図1
