PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire which can illuminate a wide angle range of 180° or more, and which can be suitably applied to a small-diameter endoscope.SOLUTION: A luminaire 100 is provided including: a light emitting part 1 having an emission end 1a for emitting illumination light； an optical member 2 arranged on a circumference with a predetermined axis as a center, and emitting the illumination light made incident from the emission end 1a from the surface； and a reflective layer 3 provided adjacent to the surface of the inside of the radial direction of the optical member 2, and reflecting the illumination light outward in the radial direction. The optical member 2 includes: a light guide layer 4； and a diffusion layer 5 located at further outside in the radial direction than the diffusion layer 4 and at one end side in a direction along the predetermined axis. In the light guide layer 4, the illumination light enters from the emission end 1a, and the illumination light is guided. The diffusion layer 5 guides the illumination light made incident from the light guide layer 4 while diffusing it.【課題】１８０°以上の広い角度範囲を照明可能でありながら、細径の内視鏡にも好適に適可能とする。【解決手段】照明光を出射する出射端１ａを有する発光部１と、所定の軸を中心とする円周上に配置され、出射端１ａから入射された照明光を表面から出射する光学部材２と、該光学部材２の半径方向内側の表面に隣接して設けられ、照明光を半径方向外方へ反射する反射層３とを備え、光学部材２が、導光層４と、該導光層４よりも半径方向外側および所定の軸に沿う方向の一端側に位置する拡散層５とを備え、導光層４は、出射端１ａから照明光が入射されるとともに該照明光を導光し、拡散層５は、導光層４から入射された照明光を拡散させながら導光する照明装置１００を提供する。【選択図】図１
