A method for manufacturing orthesis for knee-joint, ankle joint and foot comprises molding the negative matching the limb of the patient, molding the positive cast, installation of knee and ankle hinges onto the positive plaster cast, installing the straps in the horizontal plane on the rear surface of the positive cast, applying high-density thermoplastic layer to the positive plaster cast, heating and vacuum shaping of thermoplastic layer matching the positive cast, cutting and processing the sleeves for thigh, lower leg and foot, attaching the metal knee hinge to the external surface of the thigh and leg sleeves and the ankle hinge to the leg and foot sleeves, attaching the fixation elements to the sleeve surface and the patients limb. The underlays for ankle and knee hinges as well as the underlays for the straps on the rear surface of the positive cast in the area of the thigh and the leg are made of the foaming material such as pedilin. The hinge underlays are fixed externally and internally on the positive cast of the limbs at the sites of the hinges the underlays for the straps are fixed on the rear surface of the positive cast on the horizontal surface of the thigh and the lower leg. The knee and ankle hinges are made of high-density thermoplastic material using the templates and fixed onto the corresponding hinge underlays on the internal surface of the positive cast. The stiffening straps designed as the half-rings made of aluminum or titanium are fixed onto the underlays for the stiffening straps. Upon being manufactured, the whole workpiece for the sleeves of thigh, lower leg and foot is generated with the lodgment on the internal surfaces intended for the hinges and the stiffening straps.
