The present invention addresses the problem of providing a cleanser composition for pump foamers, which has further improved foam quality and low-temperature stability and also having excellent detergency. The present invention provides a cleanser composition which can be discharged using a pump foamer, and which comprises (a) lauryldimethylaminoacetic acid betaine and (b) 4 to 15% by mass of a higher fatty acid soap comprising a fatty acid having 5 to 25 carbon atoms. The cleanser composition is characterized in that the fatty acid having 5 to 25 carbon atoms contains at least one component selected from (b-1) lauric acid in an amount of 30 to 80% by mass relative to the total weight of fatty acids that constitute the higher fatty acid soap, (b-2) myristic acid in an amount of 5 to 30% by mass relative to the total weight of fatty acids that constitute the higher fatty acid soap and (b-3) palmitic acid and stearic acid in the total amount of 5 to 35% by mass relative to the total weight of fatty acids that constitute the higher fatty acid soap, and is also characterized in that the ratio of the content of the lauryldimethylaminoacetic acid betaine (a) to the content of the higher fatty acid soap (b), i.e., [(a)/(b)], is 0.4 to 1.5.
