Disclosed is a vertical green wall vegetation system, which basically includes a vegetation wall and a water storage wall. The vegetation wall, which is made of a permeable material, has a front surface that is formed with at least one lattice position provided for accommodating a growing medium. The water storage wall, which is located at the back of the vegetation wall, has a plurality of layeredly-arranged water filling containers that are respectively equipped with at least one water drainage outlet. In the vertical green wall vegetation system, the entire irrigation can be achieved by permeating the moisture which is generated from the irrigating water of each water filling container into the vegetation wall.
