PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting mechanism that comprises an adjusting mechanism for reducing quake due to looseness comprising a gap between an outer mast and an inner mast.SOLUTION: In a stretcher 1 or the like comprising a lifting mechanism 3 configured by inserting an outer mast 10 to an inner mast 11, an adjusting mechanism 7 for reducing looseness with the inner mast 11 in the lifting of the outer mast 10 is disposed in a gap formed between the outer mast 10 and the inner mast 11, and an adjustment screw 7a of the adjusting mechanism 7 is tightened and loosed. Thereby, a convex head 71e provided in one end of an adjustment screw 7e is fitted from the inside in a hole 10o drilled to the outer mast 10. Alternatively, the other end of the adjustment screw 7e presses an adjustment lower sash bar 7a to the inner mast 11 side, and thereby the gap can adjustably be reduced and the looseness of the lifting mechanism 3 is reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
