PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inventory control system that can perform inventory control in a simple configuration using shelves dedicated for consumables.SOLUTION: An inventory control system of the present invention comprises: shelves for consumables provided in a medical site and an inventory control server. The shelves for consumables includes: two storage shelves that accommodate one or more medical consumables, have a plurality of storage spaces separated for different-sized boxes for consumables according to types of the medical consumables, and are placed so that surfaces of the two storage shelves are approximately orthogonal to each other and a cameras that is provided on both of the two storage shelves, and takes an image of surfaces of one of the storage shelves that accommodate boxes for consumables in corresponding storage spaces. The inventory control server receives the taken image of the surfaces through predetermined communication means, uses a color identification code composed of combination of a plurality of colors attached in advance to each box for consumables included in the image thereby to determine a quantity of stock for each box for consumables in the shelves for consumables, and orders a new box for consumables to supply a deficiency.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】消耗品専用棚を利用して簡易な構成で在庫管理を行うことができる在庫管理システムを提供する。【解決手段】本発明の在庫管理システムは、1つ又は複数の医療消耗品を収容し医療消耗品の種類に応じて大きさの異なる消耗品ボックス毎に区画された複数の収納スペースを有し、互いの収納面が略垂直となるように隣接して配置された2つの収納棚と、2つの収納棚それぞれに設けられ、対応する各収納スペースに消耗品ボックスが収納された一方の収納棚の収納面を撮影するカメラと、を備えた医療現場に配設される消耗品専用棚と、所定の通信手段を介して撮影された収納面の画像を受信し、画像に含まれる各消耗品ボックスに予め付された複数の色彩の組み合わせから構成されるカラー識別コードを用いて、消耗品専用棚における消耗品ボックス毎の在庫数を判別し、使用された分を補充する新たな消耗品ボックスに対する発注処理を遂行する在庫管理サーバとを有する。【選択図】図1
