The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating mental illness associated with the brain and nerve system, the composition containing chemokine-like samdori-2 (Sam2) as an active ingredient. The pharmaceutical composition containing samdori-2 as an active ingredient can be used to advantage as a pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating mental illness associated with the brain and nerve system, since, on creating a zebrafish with specific knockout of Sam2 expressed in the habenula neucleus, it was confirmed that such zebrafish exhibit a relatively high level of fear and anxiety behaviour as compared with a control group in novel-tank, scototaxis and social cohesion tests, and it has been confirmed that inhibitory nerve expression is weakened in nerve cells that have over-expressed the Sam2 gene, and it has been confirmed that signs of autism and hyper-anxiety are exhibited in patients arising from Sam2 gene loss.La présente invention concerne une composition pharmaceutique pour la prévention et le traitement d'une maladie mentale associée au cerveau et au système nerveux, la composition contenant du samdori-2 (Sam2) de type chimiokine en tant que principe actif.
