PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inert gas-enhanced electrosurgical apparatus which composes an effective seal for gas leakage prevention around an electrode.SOLUTION: The inert gas-enhanced electrosurgical apparatus (10) has a housing (12), an electrode assembling body (16), and a support member (18). In the housing, at least one protuberance ridge (14) is formed. At least a part of the electrode assembling body (16) is located within the housing. A part of the support member (18) is provided within the housing in a status of being located in the neighborhood of the electrode assembling body. At least the one protuberance ridge of the housing can be engaged with the support member so that the seal may be formed between it and the support member. The housing has the first portion (20) and the second portion (22) and a cavity (24) is formed between the first portion and the second portion.
