PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic endoscope apparatus capable of outputting a moving image with intensified unevenness.SOLUTION: The electronic endoscope apparatus includes: an electronic endoscope having an imaging means for capturing the image of a subject at the distal end to output the image output from the imaging means as an image signal a monitor and an electronic endoscopic processor to generate a video signal which can be displayed in the monitor by processing the image signal. The electronic endoscope apparatus also includes an illuminating means for emitting a plurality of illumination beams from the distal end of the electronic endoscope. The imaging means is disposed at the center of the distal end as the distal end of the electronic endoscope is seen from the front, and a plurality of illumination beam outlets are disposed on the circumference around the imaging means at uniform angles. The plurality of illumination beams are emitted from the outlets at a prescribed emission angle. Illumination regions illuminated with the plurality of illumination beams respectively include imaging regions to be captured by the imaging means.
