PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus capable of detecting a waveform indicating a blood flow from Doppler waveform acquired using a heart to be diagnosed.SOLUTION: An image data generation section 10 generates Doppler waveform using the heart of a subject to be diagnosed. An image processing section 20 generates a trace waveform indicating the change in dimensions of the Doppler waveform and finds a turning point (a maximum value and a minimum value) of the trace waveform. The image processing section 20 estimates a time phase of opening a valve and a time phase of closing the valve based on an ECG signal, a cardiac sound waveform, or the turning point (the maximum value) of the trace waveform, interpolates the waveform between the time phase of opening the valve and the time phase of the minimum value and interpolates the waveform between the time phase of closing the valve and the time phase of the minimum value.
