PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding/spreading apparatus of a covering material which is capable of winding a covering material covered on a tea ridge while constantly keeping a well-balanced state under adverse conditions.SOLUTION: A winding/spreading apparatus 1 of a covering material comprises: a traveling machine 2 and a winding/spreading machine 3, and the winding/spreading machine 3 is provided with a material guide member 4. The material guide member 4 is provided with a receiving guide body 41 provided at a position facing a top surface of a ridge T and a winding guide body 43 provided at a position closer to a winding shaft. The receiving guide body 41 has a centripetal guide structure 411 which makes a covering material S move closer to the center in width directions.
