Intended is to provide a fan type insect-pest exterminating device, which ispreferable for use with the user and excellent in the insect-pest exterminatingperformances. In the device, therefore, an axial fan (3) is driven to suck airfrom an intake port (6), and the air is passed through a drug carrier (2) to containthe insect-pest exterminating component. This air is discharged from an exhaustport (7) so that it may diffuse into the air. The intake port (6) is opened in theaxial direction on the side upstream of the axial fan (3). The exhaust port (7)is opened radially on the downstream side of the axial fan (3). This axial fan (3)is equipped with an annular wall (8) enclosing the axial fan (3), and an air passage(9) for establishing the communication between the exhaust port (7) and the dischargeportion of the axial fan (3). Thus, the air discharged axially from the axial fan(3) is exhausted, after changed into radial directions, from the exhaust port(7).
