The invention relates to a method for obtaining a triploid interspecific hybrid of meagre and red drum belonging to the family of the Sciaenidae. The method includes the following two steps: a) crossing a meagre Argyrosomus regius with a red drum Sciaenops ocellatus, and b) carrying out treatment to induce triploidy in the issue obtained.L'invention concerne un procédé d'obtention d'un hybride interspécifique triploïde de maigre et d'une ombrine appartenant à la famille des Sciaenidés comprenant les deux étapes suivantes : a) croiser un maigre Argyrosomus regius avec une ombrine Sciaenops ocellatus b) réaliser un traitement d'induction de la triploïdie sur la descendance obtenue.
