A continuous airway positive pressure (CPAP) system for treating respiratory distress syndrome among neonatal patientis provided. The system includes comprises an air pump connected to a third end of a t-shaped tube,a humidifier connected to the air pump via a first end of said tube, a first nasal prong connected to a second end of the tube and a second nasal prong connected to a saline bottle wherein the first nasal prong and second nasal prong are inserted into nose of the neonatal patient.
