PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing an irregular-shaped filler from a spherical non-crosslinked organic resin particle, wherein a load applied to an apparatus for producing the irregular-shaped particle is made as low as possible and also the by-production of a fine powder is controlled.SOLUTION: The spherical non-crosslinked organic resin particle such as a spherical polymethylmethacrylate particle is heated, suitably is heated to be melt adhered in the range from a temperature near the melting point of the non-crosslinked organic resin to a temperature being 100°C higher than the melting point, and pulverized so that the average particle diameter of particles after pulverization treatment does not change substantially from the average particle diameter of the spherical non-crosslinked organic resin particle supplied to melt adhesion, to produce the irregular-shaped non-crosslinked organic resin filler.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】 球状非架橋有機樹脂粒子から異形化フィラーを製造する方法において、粒子を異形化する装置にかかる負荷をできるだけ低くし、且つ微粉の副生も抑制すること。【解決手段】 球状ポリメチルメタクリレート粒子等の球状非架橋有機樹脂粒子を加熱、好適には、非架橋有機樹脂の融点近傍から、融点よりも100℃高い温度範囲で加熱して融着させ、得られた融着粒子塊を、解砕処理後の粒子の平均粒径が、融着に供した球状非架橋有機樹脂粒子の平均粒径と実質的に変動しないように解砕して異形化非架橋有機樹脂フィラーを製造する。【選択図】 なし
