The present invention relates to an aqueous composition comprising a water-insoluble pesticide in form of suspended particles, a cellulose ether selected from methylhydroxyethyl cellulose or methylhydroxypropyl cellulose, and a thickener selected from inorganic clays or polysaccharides which are different from the cellulose ether.
