PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote-controlled actuator surely changing, by remote control operation, the attitude of a tool mounted at the front end of an elongated pipe section.SOLUTION: The remote-controlled actuator is provided with an elongated-shaped spindle guide section 3 a front end member 2 mounted at the front end of the spindle guide section 3 through a front-end-member connecting section 15 such that the attitude of the front end member 2 is changeable a tool 1 rotatably mounted at the front end member 2 a driving source for tool rotation, rotating the tool 1 and a driving source for attitude change, operating the attitude of the front end member 2. The front end member 2 rotatably supports a spindle 13 for holding the tool 1. Inside the spindle guide section 3, there are provided a rotating shaft 22 for transmitting rotation of the driving source for tool rotation to the spindle 13 and also a guide hole 30a penetrating through to opposite ends of the spindle guide section 3 inside. An attitude operating member 31 having flexibility is inserted through the guide hole 30a so as to be advanced and retracted. The attitude operating member 31 has a front end which, while being in contact with the front end member 2, is advanced and retracted to change the attitude of the front end member 2.
