According to an aspect of the present invention, the panel alignment device is for adjusting the degree of alignment of pixels in an overlap section, in which two neighboring detection panels partially overlap each other, in the X-ray image detector. The device includes a pair of first left and right alignment units aligning a first movable detection panel horizontally at a position higher than the position of a fixed detection panel on a back plate in a panel case so that the fixed detection panel of the X-ray image detector overlaps a portion of the edge to form an overlap section.
