The present invention relates to an ear tag for livestock. The ear tag is attached on an ear of an animal, enables people to check history of the animal, and can actively prevent illegal acts such as forgery and falsification of detaching the ear tag from a relevant animal and then attaching the ear tag to another animal. Moreover, the ear tag, attached to an animal, can be easily cut when needed. An ear of an animal is placed between a male tag (10) and a female tag (20) of the ear tag； and then the male tag (10) and the female tag (20) are punched and joined. The ear tag (100) comprises the male tag (10) that includes a male barcode (11) printed on one side thereof, and a pin containing part (12) on the other side thereof； the female tag (20) that includes a female bar code (21), which is same with the male barcode of the male tag (10) and printed on one side thereof, and a joining part (22) on the other side thereof； and a penetration pin (30) which is inserted into the pin containing part (12) and penetrates skin of the animal. The male tag (10) and the female tag (20) can be easily removed by cutting a cut part (36) arranged on the penetration pin (30) using a cutting tool (300). Therefore, when a head of the animal is stuck on a fence of a livestock shed, the ear tag can be quickly removed to prevent an ear of the animal from being torn. In addition, the ear tag (100) can be easily used for various kinds of livestock. Meanwhile, the ear tag (100), which is cut and removed, cannot be completely bonded again with an adhesive.
