PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for production and transportation of cell sheet with which the cell sheet may be simply transported without damage after production and in which it is not required to remove a member after transportation.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for transporting a cell sheet, comprising: (a) a step of placing the cell sheet on a holding part of a tool which comprises the sheet-shaped holding part for placing the cell sheet and in which the holding part is constructed in a separable manner so as to straddle a separation part; (b) a step of transporting the cell sheet placed on the holding part together with the tool; and (c) a step of moving the cell sheet on a target part by separating the holding part at upper part of the target part and pulling out the holding part.
