PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the removal of a clip placed inside a body through an operation from outside the body.SOLUTION: A clip removing device removes a clip 1 placed inside a living body through an operation from outside the body in a state of gripping an inner tissue between the tips of a pair of arm parts 11 and 12 brought close to each other. The device includes: a first member 21 capable of being inserted and positioned in a part between the pair of arm parts and a second member 24 to be positioned on an opposite side to the first member by clipping one of the arm parts 12 at a position different from a position of the first member in the extension direction of the one arm part with the first member inserted and positioned in a part between the pair of arm parts.
