The first skin-side sheet has a region having a formation index of 180 to 557. The second skin-side sheet has long colored sections (55) extending in the first direction and formed of a plurality of dots. The colored sections can be viewed from the skin facing side of the absorbent article through the aforementioned region in the first skin-side sheet. The length of the colored sections in the first direction is 0.5 mm to 1.85 mm. The length of the colored sections in the second direction is 0.1 mm to 0.7 mm. The distance between adjacent colored sections in the first direction is 0.5 mm to 10 mm. The distance between adjacent colored sections in the second direction is 0.75 mm to 3.5 mm.
