Various embodiments of the present invention provide a conduit deviceincluding an attaching device configured fordefining a helical pathway through a tissue wall and complementary ring incooperation for securing the device within an aperturedefined in the tissue wall. Some embodiments of the present invention furtherprovide a system for implanting a conduit device in atissue wall. More specifically, some embodiments provide a system including acoring device for defining an aperture in a tissue byremoving and retaining a tissue core and securely implanting a conduit devicetherein so as to provide fluid communication betweena first and second surface of the tissue wall via the conduit device.
