PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the new application of fucoxanthin and/or fucoxantinol in which the functions of a diabetes improving function, a vascularization inhibiting action, a DHA synthesis promoting action or the like are known.SOLUTION: The hair tonic comprises fucoxanthin and/or fucoxanenthinol as an active constituent. The increase in a hair growth rate by a mouse has been confirmed by using the active constituent.
