A system comprising:a memory storing one or more images of a patient and one or more software applications；a display configured to present the one or more images of a patient；a user interface configured to present on the display in combination with the displayed one or more images of a patient enabling the identification of one or more image locations depicting symptoms of lung disease and the identification of vascular structure within a patient's lungs serving the identified image locations；an extended working channel navigable to one or more actual locations within a patient corresponding to the one or more image locations；a processor, configured to execute one of the one or more software applications to identify the direction of blood flow within the identified vascular structure of a patient's lungs； anda catheter, extendible through the extended working channel to temporarily isolate a portion of the identified vascular structure within a patient serving the one or more image locations depicting symptoms of lung disease.
