PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging device in which heat generation of a superconducting coil is small, and an error magnetic field due to an eddy current is small.SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging device includes a pair of magnetic poles 1 which face each other across an observation area; an annular magnetic pole projection 2 which is arranged at an outer periphery of the magnetic poles and has a higher electric resistance area along a revolving direction; annular static magnetic field generation means 5 which surrounds the magnetic pole projection; and inclined magnetic field coils 8 which are arranged at counter surfaces of the magnetic poles.
