A Fermenting Tea Carrier Cum Spreader Machine operated by a single user that is used to collect and carry the processed tea leaves from a CTC machine to the fermenting floor and then spread the same there. It comprises of a Body(5) mounted on a Frame(l), Having a rotating Lump Breaker(ll) and a Spreader(14) below, on the inside. There is a Discharge Door(4) covering the bottom of the Body(5) and a Rake(6) at the front of the Body(5), both of which are operated by a Pedal(l0). A hand Pedal(19) drives the Lump Breaker(11) and the Frame(l) sits on Wheels(2) and Wheel(3). On pressing in Pedal (l0), the Discharge Door(4) closes and the Rake(6) gets lifted up and the invention can be moved to collect tea leaves and bring them to the fermenting space. Then the Pedal(l0) is disengaged and while rotating the hand Pedal(19) and pulling the machine back step by step, the tea leaves get spread and raked on the floor. This invention can be used in tea factories where manual labour is used for the above fermenting process.
