PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce operation burdens for doing smoother photographing work.SOLUTION: An X-ray image photographing system 2 includes two units of electronic cassettes 15a, 15b. The electronic cassettes 15a, 15b include a speaker 42 to output the voice to notify the location. A photographing controller 12 transmits a second starting signal to electronic cassettes 15a, 15b not selected for the use of photographing, among the electronic cassettes 15a, 15b, and after passing of a prescribed length of time, transmits a first starting signal to the electronic cassette selected.
